How to Choose a Gypsum Board Production Line
A practical guide for comparing capacity, dryer design, raw material conditions, board type, automation level, and project delivery support.
Start from the market and target product
A gypsum board line should be configured around the local market demand, board thickness, board width, paper supply, finished product type, and annual capacity target. Standard board, laminated board, fire-resistant board, moisture-resistant board, and perforated board may require different process details.
Match the line to raw materials and energy conditions
Gypsum powder quality, water quality, additives, fuel type, electricity supply, and factory climate all affect the final production line design. Dryer type, temperature control, conveyor layout, and cutting accuracy should be reviewed before quotation.
Evaluate engineering delivery, not just machine price
For overseas factories, the supplier should support layout planning, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, recipe setup, and operator training. A production line is a plant system, not a single machine.
